After my dad died, my mom spent a lot of time alone in her condo hardly going out especially in bad weather. She was lonely but reluctant to give up her home. After she broke her hip she had no choice but to find some assisted living program. Kensington Place has been a life saver for her especially after she lost her grandson. Thank you very much for the tasty treats you have provided for our homeless guests. Your hard work and dedication to the Out of the Cold Program is greatly appreciated. This year we have had over 180 guests visit our shelter weekly and we have become one of the largest temporary shelters in the city. Thanks to your efforts we are also considered a "unique" shelter because you have given us the opportunity to provide home baked goods to our needy guests.
