Unique to Kensington Place
Unlike any other retirement residence in the Greater Toronto Area, Kensington Place offers a traditional Shabbot service, led by a Torah reader, reading a parashah from the Kensington Place’s own Torah. Residents treasure this special element at Kensington Place and many are even involved in the service itself by receiving Aliyat.
We welcome other Jewish seniors in the community who would enjoy our special service. The service runs from 9 to 11 am, with a Kiddish lunch following. Please call ahead so we can expect you and welcome you properly to Shabbot service at Kensington Place.
